Sony apologizes for PlayStation breach, offers compensation

So you probably know that 77 million online playstation users' personal data was hacked. i think this is big especially since the hacker know has these peoples credit card information.
Now Sony is offering them a free 30 days of online plus as compensation for their frusturation. So some idiot might have all of their personal info as well as their creit card number and thats all they get.
I think that this is pretty retartarded. I mean, personally, if someone had my credit card number i would expect the person in charge of the internet securityto give me more than just another form of advertisement designed to get me hooked on their system.

  1. Yeah-I wonder if the customers will be satisfied?

That is a very big inconvenience for them...having to cancel all of their credit cards and wait for new ones...plus worry about identy theft.

  2. The guy that hacked is stupid sure he is really smart being able to hack the Sony computer entertainment system but once he got all the number and tried to buy something the card owner is gonna notice the unknown charge and cancel it

  3. Do you even know what PlayStation Plus is?? There are games that normal PSN users have to pay $5 for, while PS Plus people get them for a reduced price or even free! There are even some demos that are exclusive to PS Plus users! I'm looking foward to that!
